Bio

I was born in Flint, Michigan. I studied theater at the University of Michigan - Flint, before transferring to finish my education in film theory at Wayne State University and filmmaking at Detroit Film Center. I was raised in Flint and lived there until 1997 when I moved to Detroit, Michigan until 2005. I made a pit stop in St. Croix, U.S.V.I. before settling down in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where I live with my girlfriend and two cats.

I am currently finishing the final touches on my first screenplay and will be looking to start film production in 2013.

I am a self taught photographer and I'm currently seeking photography representation.

I have received several awards in filmmaking and photography. My photo of St. Francis received a third place prize from Albuquerque's IQ Magazine. My image of Land Not for Sale took a first place prize at Raton's International Art Exhibit. I've also received awards for cinematography and special effects from Greensboro's annual 48 Hour Film Festival.
